Actually belonged to a very well known Rhode Island mobster who passed away. This is a gorgeous antique Seth Thomas clock from the late 1800’s. The clock is working/running and the bell/gong are fully functional. I ran the clock for about two days and it is losing about 10 minutes every 24 hours. May need a few adjustments. Rare Seth Thomas no. 2003 8-bell Sonora chime clock with key. Very few still exist. Winds up, runs, and chimes. Service history unknown and clock is in unrestored original cosmetic condition with original finish and surface wear. See photos, including wear along the inner door where the key handle rubs when turned. For a clock that is about 110 years old, this is a beautiful surviving example.
