Description Here is a nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike shelf clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the early 1900’s. This clock is in a red woodgrain style Adamantine finish which may have been designed to simulate rosewood or simply red marble. The brass bezel and dial assembly is in nice shape for its age. Restored Working! Antique Seth Thomas Chicago Shelf Clock 8 Day Mechanical

This Seth Thomas Chicago Shelf clock is in excellent condition. The clock’s exterior has been beautifully restored and looks excellent. The only issue is that when the door closes and is locked, there is a gap at the top of the clock (See HD pictures). We attempted multiple adjustments to fix this, but we were unsuccessful. The clock would have been made around the late 1800s. The movement has been properly cleaned and oiled and keeps very good time. The clock chimes on the hour.
