Seth Thomas Chime Adamantine RosewoodMantle Clock. This clock was made by The Seth Thomas Clock Company of Thomaston, Connecticut. This is a beautiful brownish red Adamantine (Rosewood looking) that is in great condition. Seth Thomas bought the rights to use Adamantine in 1881. It is made of a celluloid veneer that is glued onto the wood. Perfect porcelain 5 dial that has fancy Arabic numerals in black. The dial has Seth Thomas, Slow/Fast adjuster, Chimes on the hour and 1/2 hour. With Seth Thomas spade hands. Dimensions are Height 10.25″, Width 15.25″, Depth 7, and Weight 7 lbs.
