I have for sale an antique Seth Thomas 8 day hanging wind -up clock. Body of clock is wood. Clock has been refurbished (cleaned, sanded and painted). Clock runs (see pictures) but runs 20 minutes fast per day. Clock measures 9″ wide, 9 ” tall and 31/4 deep. Includes brass key to lock door and wind clock.

SETH THOMAS 3 5/8 CLOCK MOVEMENT, REBUILT WITH SERVICEABLE MAINSPRINGS AND NEW SUSPENSION ROD. THIS MOVEMENT HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED, ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED AND ALL PARTS POLISHED, DAMAGED OR WORN PARTS ARE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. BUSHINGS ARE REPLACED AS. SERVICEABLE SPRINGS WERE UNWOUND. THE MOVEMENT WAS THEN REASSEMBLED, OILED AND SET IN BEAT. THE TIME AND STRIKE FUNCTION AS SHOULD THE CLOCK GONGS THE HOUR AND ON THE 1/2 HOUR. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS WALL/GALLERY CLOCK WORKING. NICE WORKING ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS WALL CLOCK. SINGLE SPRING, TIME-ONLY, BRASS MOVEMENT SIGNED SETH THOMAS. COMES WITH ADJUSTABLE PENDULUM AND WINDING KEY. MEASURES ALMOST 16 INCHES SQUARE, AND IS 5 INCHES DEEP.

The clock is the Mayflower type and I was told it was made in the 1920’s or 30’s. Either way it keeps very good time, strike’s, 8 day wind and original unpolished chrome. The only thing I cannot do is shut off the strike. See all the pictures and this clock needs a home!
