The original label dated September 7, 1880 is partially intact on the base. Includes the winding key and pendulum. Clock ticks when wound, but long-term accuracy and chime functionality not tested. This exquisite antique mantel clock was crafted by Seth Thomas Clock Co. Featuring the company’s patented Adamantine finish that mimics marble. This example, dated September 7, 1880, showcases lion’s head handles, faux green marble columns, ornate brass bezel, and a cast base with claw feet. 119 is clearly marked Made in U. America and contains 11 jewels. Comes complete with the original winding key and pendulum, found sealed in a protective bag. The original instructions label is still affixed on the base. The clock runs when wound and the minute hand can be adjusted. However, timekeeping accuracy and chime operation are untested and not guaranteed due to age.
