Beautiful MCM Seth Thomas carriage Mantle Clock. From the pinnacle of well made, attractive, functioning, collectable & attainable clocks.. Kieninger & Obergfell made in West Germany. Transistor, 4 glass brass, skeleton dial, with pendulum. Operates with one C (1.5v) battery. 4 height adjustable feet for leveling. This specimen was acquired from the Division of Time corp in Norcross, GA. It has a few light scratches, as well as small dark spots consistent with time and use. With a little Brasso (or professional cleaning) it will likely be even more impressive. Severe corrosion and soft metals make clocks like this, in this condition, a rarity.
