Vintage SETH THOMAS 14.5 Beehive Shelf Clock 48 0 Movement RUNS / NO PENDULUM. This clock measures 14.5″ tall by 9″ across at the base. The dial is marked Seth Thomas as is the movement inside. Speaking of the movement, it has the code 48 0 (or 48 O) towards the bottom. I wound this up a few turns and it started ticking right away very fast. That is when I found that it’s MISSING THE PENDULUM INSIDE. There is NO key included as well. With no pendulum, I’m unable to tell if it keeps good time but it does run and chimes as well on the hour and half hour. Age is unknown but I’m thinking it’s from the early 1900’s era. I THINK the wood is Walnut. I don’t normally resell clocks so my experience with them is pretty limited but if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them. My goal is your satisfaction.
