This clock features a solid brass 8-day movement stamped. Thomas – Plymouth, Conn. A hallmark of authentic 19th-century American clockmaking. The clock has a paper Roman numeral dial with original hand-decorated corner details and a spiral steel gong strike, producing a classic deep chime. The wooden case retains its original black finish with contrasting inner molding. Vintage Antique Seth Thomas USA Metal Case Alarm Mantel / Shelf Clock

This is a nice vintage antique Seth Thomas USA metal case alarm mantel / shelf clock. I think it has been overwound because the keys will not turn. If I move the clock from side to side it will start to tick. In decent condition as the pics show with some cosmetic wear and some dings to the metal and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 7″ x 3″ at the base and is 9 tall.

Here is a nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the early 1900’s. The clock was recently cleaned and lubricated and it is in good running condition. The clock gongs at the 1/2 hour one time and at the hour the number of time. They are some minor dents and chips on the wood please look at the pictures. Unfortunately I do not have the key. Please let me know if you have any questions.
