Vintage SETH THOMAS 14.5 Beehive Shelf Clock 48 0 Movement RUNS / NO PENDULUM. This clock measures 14.5″ tall by 9″ across at the base. The dial is marked Seth Thomas as is the movement inside. Speaking of the movement, it has the code 48 0 (or 48 O) towards the bottom. I wound this up a few turns and it started ticking right away very fast. That is when I found that it’s MISSING THE PENDULUM INSIDE. There is NO key included as well. This is an absolutely stunning dome shaped Seth Thomas antique mantel or shelf clock. It is mahogany with a gorgeous inlay accent. It runs and keeps time. It is missing its key but it was tested with a spare key. It does have the pendulum. It has some scratches and wear to the finish – please see photos. Inherited from my Father in 1996. This clock had been in my family for as long as I can remember. My father collected clocks and also could fix most any clock. Unfortunately I did not inherit this talent. If you know about these Fashion Clocks, you know the calendar mechanism is very, very touchy.
