Sound Opening on Bottom. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself. A nice looking patinaed brass lacquer look case on this clock. Would guess the clock dates to just before the WWII period. Has no markings on the back of the case. An uncommon feature with this clock is the sound venting on the bottom of the case. Antique Seth Thomas Double Dial Calendar Clock 8-day, time/strike, key-wind. It’s in working condition. Strikes and counts the hour. The Andrews patent calendar is in good working order as well, advancing day to day, date to date and month to month. Calendar paper is in good condition – not sure if original, new or restored. The mainsprings look good. The bushings look good. The plates measure about 5-3/8″ by 3-5/8″ (without extension). The distance between plates is about 1-3/8.
