4 Antique Brass Mechanical Clock Movements Various Makers Not Running

4 Antique Brass Clock Movements. Various Makers – Seth Thomas, Gilbert & Ingraham. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! One movement made by Seth Thomas, Ingraham, and another by Gilbert. The other movement is not marked. The movements appear to be made of brass. Movements could be either for a mantel clocks or wall clocks, not sure which. The movements’ and their corresponding parts show tarnishing and loss of finish in places. Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Clock Empire No. 10 Striking Not Running

Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Clock. Striking When Manually Set, Not Running. Beautiful Gold Gilt Case. Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself! The top and bottom pieces may have been re-gilded at some juncture. The corners of the actual case […]

Antique Seth Thomas Ship’s Bell Clock Running & Striking

Sound Opening on Bottom. Would make a great gift or keep for yourself. A nice looking patinaed brass lacquer look case on this clock. Would guess the clock dates to just before the WWII period. Has no markings on the back of the case. An uncommon feature with this clock is the sound venting on the bottom of the case. An uncommon, but ingenious feature to allow the strike of the clock to be heard over a larger area. The bezel (door) is attached to the rest of the case. Flat glass in the bezel is intact. Just some minor surface scratching to the glass, no cracks or blistering. The […]
