US Coast Guard 6 inch black dial clock. Model 117 movement was manufactured during World War 2 to compete with Chelsea’s model “F” movement. It bears more than a resemblance to the Chelsea version. In the upside down or “pilot house” configuration. Just fully overhauled, the direct train escapement movement looks like it just came off the production line. The original dial is excellent. The hands have been repainted at some point and are getting worn. Running and keeping excellent time. Comes with a key.
