This door has the original, very nice clean finish. More importantly it has the original glass with original wood glass holding surrounds – check photos. If you are looking for a fine replacement for your damaged door – this is it. Last photo shows an age crack on the top of the door – will not show when clock is hanging. Back side has some flaws as shown in photos. Size is 28 1/2″ tall, widest on door top is 15 1/2″, widest on door bottom is 11 1/2.

This Seth Thomas Mantel Clock 401-003 is in very good working condition except the moon dial doesn’t appear to move otherwise, a great working clock keeping very good time and strikes on brass rods Westminster tune. This rare original zinc dial is in very good original condition with good original solid dial paint as shown in the photos , and having some strengthening to most of the numerals and lines. Dial presents very well. Measures 11 5/8″ outer diameter, 1 1/2″ between the center of the center hole and the center of the winding hole, 1 15/16 between the center of the center hole and the center of the seconds hole.
