Used on US Navy ships during and after World War 2. This clock is in very good condition and running strong keeping excellent time. There are a few scratches on the case and crystal. The dial is dated 1943 and the movement is dated January 1944. The metal shock mount is missing, but the hinged back plate is in very good condition. The clock measures 8 3/8″ at the widest point across the back, the dial is 5 1/2″ dial, and the case is 4 deep. Please look at the pictures, they provide the best description. Vintage WWII Era Mark I Deck Clock, no key. Originally owned by family member who was in Merchant Marines. Not sure if clock works since key is missing. It has paint marks on edges, as if painting around it on deck, showing the authenticity of the item. The screw mechanism works well. The dial is very clear, with the white background in good shape.
