RARE 8 Bell Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Bracket Clock All orginal. This is an 8 day time and strike clock. This is in nice orginal cond, the clock and chime all work, it runs for over a day, then stops. Rare antique Seth Thomas 8-day 8 bells Sonora Chime Mantel Clock. It have two movements, one for time and strike on the hours, other for chimes on the quarter hour. The clock movement is currently wound up tight and not running. It ran for about a minute then stopped. The barometer doesn’t appear to be working as well. The mahogany base has some slight sun fading(see last pic). The crystal and dials have no scratches. The finish on the brass has some wear and discoloring(see pics 9 & 10). These clocks are highly sought after due to the external bell. The clocks strike the 8 bells system notating the various four hour watches. This particular bell is loud and clear!
