Antique Seth Thomas Chime Mantle Clock. For Parts, Might be Working. The cabinet is in good shape. Just nice age and patina. The interior of the Cabinet is clean. One of the screws that holds the movement in is stripped. There is no pendulum and I can see that the hammer for the chime has been bent around. I don’t know if it needs anything else. I heard it tick for more than a minute. I had the clock tilted and it started ticking but the ticking seemed fast. It sounded like it functions and when you turn the hands by hand it clicks at the hour and 1/2 hour. The front glass door is on securely and the glass is in good condition with some light marks on it. The inner brass ring that holds glass is loose and separated. Overall I believe this is an excellent candidate for a clean up and light restoration. No winding key is included. Please see photos for condition detail. Kept in a smoke free environment.
