Seth Thomas 8 Day Mantel Clock, dated from 1880 to 1900. This clock has been in my family since it was new. Needs to oiled before starting the movement. I have notes from my father about the ownership and passing thru the family. The last time it was cleaned was 1929. The cover is missing, but I do have the key and weight for the movement.

Face plate has some marks on it that can probably be cleaned off. A few of the edge wooden blocks have some pieces split off. Everything works, but the hands are a bit bent, so I’m not sure if it keeps time correctly. It’s hard to let this one go!

This antique pendulum wall clock with a unique second hand is in very good condition and working. It has some ware from age and use but a minimal amount for being over 100 years old. The Seth Thomas movement is marked with an 80. After research, I think that this clock was made in the late 1800’s though I don’t see any markings on the back indicating the year it was made.
