This is a beautiful vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Chime 8-Day Mantel/Shelf Clock. It is Tambour Shape clock. I think it is Model 59. It has a silver tone dial. The face is marked “Made by Seth Thomas in USA”. On the back of the clock works is’Made in USA” “ST” mark and “119A. There is silent/chime lever on the back. Beautiful Non-Working Seth Thomas No. 124 with Westminster chime and silent feature. Clock was running good then it stopped. I tried to wind it, but the spring would never wind. You could hear a clicking noise like it was trying to wind, until then the clock ran fine. This could be a easy fix by replacing or repairing the barrel spring on the time side, but then that’s above my pay grade. I refinished the case to bring out the beautiful grain and polished the bezel, the convex glass and dial and case are in very good to excellent condition in my opinion.
