Doric arch case with marquetry. Case is good, light wear marks the worst of which is near the 8 o’clock pos. Bezel and face showing signs of light wear (pics). I tested it and everything worked great for 3 weeks, and then one day when it did the hour gong, it didn’t stop gonging until it ran out of wind. If you wind up the gong, when it gets to the hour, it gongs until it runs out of wind. I think oil must have gotten somewhere it wasn’t supposed to get. 100% genuine, is fully functional, works great and chimes perfectly. I’ve had it running for about 4 days and it is keeping impeccable time and is chiming perfectly. Very beautiful clock that has been well cared for and maintained over time. Features a 5 hammer chime movement made in West Germany. Measures approx 14 1/2 inches in total height, 10 1/2 inches from side to side and 7 inches from front to back. The clock has no cracks or broken pieces. Very minor wear on the wooden carriage/case.
