The clock runs and comes with a winder. The clock will need servicing to get it in tip top shape. I was told by someone (not professional) that looked at it quickly, that it was wound a little tight, mentioning that in case that is true. Cosmetically it is in nice condition. Antique 1800’s Victorian Seth Thomas Calendar Parlor Clock. The clock has been running continuously for a week. There is some time drift so some adjustment is needed. I don’t know if the day calendar feature is working properly. I looked at it one day and then it moved a number of days. Not sure how it works. The clock face has a lot of flaking. Antique SETH THOMAS 14 Shelf Clock in Victorian Ornate Metal Case WORKS! This clock measures 14 tall and features a painted dial. Age is unknown but I’m thinking it’s from the 1890’s to 1900’s era. I does a single ding on the half hour and a number of dings on the full hour but the count is off. What I mean by that is when I advanced the time to 12:00 – it dinged 8 times.
