This is a nice example of a SETH THOMAS Sonora 2 bell ding dong strike mantle clock. It has its original ADAMANTINE finish that really only has a couple small nicks on the top corners. It has been running strong and striking correctly for several days. It looks to have been cleaned and lubricated not too long ago. It does have its original back wood cover with a rough label intact. Here is a beautiful example of the desirable Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Clock. This model features two movements and 4 bells that play Westminster chimes on the 1/4 hour. Rare Seth Thomas no. 2003 8-bell Sonora chime clock with key. Very few still exist. Winds up, runs, and chimes. Service history unknown and clock is in unrestored original cosmetic condition with original finish and surface wear.
