The clock is in very fine condition and complete it is in running and keeping very good time. Fitted with a Seth Thomas double spring, detached eleven jeweled escapement, compensating balance wheel, Breguet hairspring, cut steel pinions, and heavy milled solid brass plates. These movements were Seth Thomas’ very high end performers and where also used in their railroad clocks. The dial is engraved and silvered and is very clean. The clock movement is all housed in a solid heavy cast brass case with hinged plate glass bezel and keyed door lock. It measures overall 7 inches, 6 1/4 -inch dial and the case is 3 1/4 inches deep… Will run for about one day and then stop. Wear to the face, but still nice antique clock.

It’s in the original brass case with front glass. The movement is a double Spring movement that is original and well-maintained. However, it will only run sporadically and needs to be cleaned. The case has quite a bit of tarnish and could be polished up considerably. Please check the photos closely for additional details.

Original WWII Zig Zag Clock. Clock needs to be reserviced – clock only works for a couple for seconds and hands move – so it probably needs to be reoiled. Does not include anything, just the clock. Photos should show everything. Research indicates that Azure clocks were used by submarines during WWII to zig zag and avoid being detected.
