Crafted from brass, this clock is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship of yesteryears. The maker of this clock, Seth Thomas, is known for their quality timepieces that have stood the test of time. This clock is an original antique piece that has survived through the years and still works as beautifully as it did when it was first crafted. It is a fantastic addition to any collection and a great way to own a piece of history. Measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and 4 inches height….

The clock is in working condition and appears to be keeping good time. The clock will chime on the hour and half hour as expected. The key will be included. There are some minor scuffs/scratches – it is much less than average considering the age of the clock. The “Stroke” and “Silent” toggle is working. The movement is German and marked on the lower portion of the dial. The glass on the front screw-off dial is intact and clean (no cracks). The back of the clock is stamped with, SETH THOMAS DIV. OF GENERAL TIME CORP. The clock measures 8 1/2″ inches in diameter and is 3 1/8″ inches deep. […]

The Balance Wheel and hair spring are in good condition. Powered by a battery with its own access door on the back of the case. Inside, a small electric motor performs two functions: every half hour, contact is made, and the motor runs the strike component and also winds a small barreled spring, which runs the clock itself. Untested timekeeping accuracy is not guaranteed.

Inside it is marked with an ST 5165 4604. It appears to be keeping time. I have not polished it so it is slightly tarnished. There appears to be some dents/chips/flaws in the outside brass case.

It has been running uninterrupted for the last 18 or so hours prior to listing. I posted a short video to my YouTube channel, CT Revival Antique Clocks. Please view all 20 photos for measurements and condition. In the last 2 photos I show a sheet of paper with some information that was with the clock, it has details about the movement and likely the last service date from 2013.
