It was handed down from generation to generation in the same family. I have the service paperwork which will come with the clock. Does come with key. Was made Circa 1880s and more than likely it was used in a school house. This model does not chime. Keeps accurate time for about a week before needing to be rewound. Approximately 26 in Long and about 14 in wide. A beautiful timepiece and a nice piece of History. A survivor that has withstood the test of time.
