This is a very attractive and desirable Seth Thomas Adamantine which I enjoy purchasing and working on because Seth Thomas made very high quality movements and pioneered the sort of veneer over wood look that looks great. This is not a top of the line adamantine but has a very decent look going with the lions heads tan beige marble tone and good looking bezel. But the dial does have cracks around the winding ports. Here we have a Mini Seth Thomas OG clock. The spring wound 30 hr clock movement runs, but have not checked the time. The case has some bumps and bruises but presents very well. This nice old clock is in very good strong running condition, as shown, with no breaks or cracks. It dongs the the correct number of dongs on the hour and a single bell ding on the half hour. It comes with key and pendulum shown. One of the lion heads on the side is missing a pin in it’s mouth. Otherwise it’s a super nice clock with nothing else to mention. This movement is an original Seth Thomas model 77A. It retains its original pulley. Also the cast iron frame is original also. The suspension block is still present and in good order also. Movement has the 77A Stamp along with the ST Logo also. The brass cable has been just replaced along with an ultrasonic cleaning as well. I have the original wood screws that go into the frame. The depth of the movement is 4 1/4 inches from the back of the frame to the hand shaft tip. The distance center to center seconds bit to the hand shaft is 1 7/8 inches.
