This pair is from a yacht that was refurbished. They have been stored in a drawer for over 20 years without the battery. The clock started right up as soon as I put a new AA battery in. I saw a bit of movement in the needle of the barometer when I turned the silver knob, but I can’t guarantee it works. The front of the set is in excellent condition. There is a bit of wear on the backside from being mounted to the yacht’s cabin for several years prior to me acquiring them. This beauty is the “Shasta” Adamantine model, was made in 1916 and is a favorite of collectors everywhere. This version is larger than most others, features a serpentine top, celluloid drum sides, four fully round celluloid columns, large ornate metal feet and uses 89AD movement.
