I found this at a farm estate. However I could not locate a key. However when i pulled on the weights the gears did move. Some of the paint is starting to chip. Antique 25 SETH THOMAS OGEE THOMASTON Connecticut Wall Mantle Mechanical Clock. COMPLETE, Includes original weights, bob, and key. I ran new cords and it DOES RUN. The Chime was being finicky but I think it got it all worked out. Still running and chiming hours later. A beautiful clock but some damage in veneer on outside as well as some peeling of the paint. The glass is original handmade and wavy with an ripple imperfection in the top corner. Gorgeous Seth Thomas half column weight driven shelf clock. Beautiful rosewood case with minor nicks, chips and scratches (see pics), original reverse glass, original top glass, both iron weights, pendulum and 30 hour oiled works, with alarm mechanism. Newer looking face over zinc plate, no key included. About 25 tall by 15 wide and 4 deep. Counts the hour on a wire gong (removed for tuning in the pic).
