The back middle piece of wood was loose and I put it back on and lined up the chime. I had to glue some pieces back on and other pieces back into place. Beautiful Antique 1860s Seth Thomas OGEE Mantle Clock With Alarm WORKS. This very well-preserved clock is in excellent working and cosmetic condition with some expected wear around the wood frame and clock face. The reverse glass painting on the door is in especially good condition with very minimal paint loss. Measures approx 16 1/2″ tall x 10 3/4″ wide x 4 deep. Ogee case, made in possibly Plymouth Hollow, tablet glass puttied in, missing top tablet glass. Dial is metal, and two rings drawn around time track with dots for minute marks. The case has some nicks, chips, scratches in the veneer and wood back. The door opens with no problems, the putty around the windows is old.
