Up for sale is a World War II era Seth Thomas Mark I Deck Clock. The clock has a white dial and black hands. The clock is time only, and winds from the rear. The clock is housed in a two piece bakelite case. Excellent overall condition, but the original beveled plastic has some minor imperfections that can only be seen at an angle. Seth Thomas mark 1 U. Navy ships bulkhead deck clock. Nickel plating worn in places. Comes with original removable hinged bulkhead mounting plate screwed to a finished wooden plaque. This clock has the black dial. This clock came off the bulkhead of a U. It is sometimes referred to as a porthole clock because it operates the same way with hing and lock-down toggle.
