Obtained this through family. Unless otherwise stated it is in a used condition which could include minor scratches, dings, bumps and rust. There is a key for this clock! I have looked and haven’t found a clock that is identical to this one! On the back of the clock where the opening is to the clockworks is a personalized engraving that I have no idea who or what it says. It is a faux marble and the columns I think are a plastic. Up for consideration is a Seth Thomas Adamantine mantle clock circa 1880 model #102. It is decorated with green faux marble accents with elaborate brass columns, and brass Lion’s head handles on both sides. The clock measures approx. 16 1/2 inches wide 11 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches deep. The clock DOES NOT come with a key. When the pendulum is removed and the lever at the top is pulled the clock will run its full course. In other words the hands rapidly turn as it winds down.
