This antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantle clock was patented in 1880. A family heirloom of ours. It has a very pleasant chime on the hour and a ding on the half hour. I have wound this up and it is still running at day 8. It has such a pretty and soothing sound. The base is wood with faux green marble and black. Beautiful brass accents on the feet, lions heads, columns and the clock face dial and door. Measures 17 inches long x 7.25 inches wide by 11.25 inches tall. This comes from my smoke-free and pet-free home. Please ask and I will do my best to answer it.
