Looks to be all original, including the key and pendulum. One tiny veneer loss as shown. I think finish is adamintine? It’s very dark brown, almost black. The original felt pads on the feet have been poorly replaced.

The Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Beehive Mantel Clock with 48 Movement is a vintage desk clock from the early 20th century. This mechanical clock features Arabic numerals on a brown wooden frame with a mahogany finish. It has a bim-bam chime sequence and is signed by the brand Seth Thomas. Cosmetically the set is very good with no noticeable issues. There is a dedication plate that appears to be glued to the cradle. The blame is dated 1966 and refers to a Baltimore harbor master. Mechanically, the clock was wound and ticked. When the hands were cycled it chimed. It wasn’t tested for accuracy or run duration. It a nice clock set in great shape nand it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it.
