This item shows wear including scratches, discoloration, staining, yellowing to the dial, the dial may not be original, there is missing veneer, fogginess and discoloration to the front mirror, and there are signs of age and use; the clock has not been tested and we are unsure if it comes in working condition. The clock comes with weights and a brass pendulum; the clock may be missing parts. Please see pictures for more details.

HARD TO FIND SETH THOMAS FROM PLYMOUTH HOLLOW! Looks to have a capital type scene with an American flag. The original backing paper always adds to the look and feel of these old ogee clocks. Black body with brown marbled type columns. 25″ tall, 15″ wide, and 4.5 deep. The wood body is in good shape with light signs of age. Both glass panes look to be original and have some light bubbles and waves that you have in early glass. The little locking handle is original and works as it should. The Seth Thomas Regulator clocks were introduced in 1860. The movement was one of S. The movement is identical to movements I have seen in other S. Terry regulators and many early Seth Thomas regulators. Early #2’s did not have a second hand. If you look up some of the S. Terry’s Slant Bottom Wall Regulators. You will see these Clock Hands and Movements. Some movements had a second hand bit, some (as this one) do not. Made by Seth Thomas out of Plymouth Hollow Conn. USA in the early to mid 1800’s. Large 25″ tall, 15 1/4″ wide, and 4 1/8 deep. Looks to be walnut but please see pictures to be sure. Great shape with little signs of age on the front or sides of cabinet. The reverse painted flower scene gives it a great appearance. The face has a great antique look as well.
