This is one of Seth Thomas’s black mantels with the Adamantine finish. Cosmetically, the clock looks really good with a smooth glossy finish and original wash on the embellishments. The dial is nice, but a little faded on the numbers. The glass is a little shakey in the bezel, but that seems to be a design flaw more than anything. There’s a good label on the rear and the clock seems to retain most of its original parts.
