This is a nice example of a SETH THOMAS Sonora 2 bell ding dong strike mantle clock. It has its original ADAMANTINE finish that really only has a couple small nicks on the top corners. It has been running strong and striking correctly for several days. It looks to have been cleaned and lubricated not too long ago. It does have its original back wood cover with a rough label intact. Up for sale is one of the best original Antique Seth Thomas “Eclipse” Model Clocks I have ever owned. This clock was just overhauled and cleaned on 6/19/21 and runs perfect. The clock man who did the work said the movement overall was in great shape with no ware and had no reason for any bushing installation.
