For Sale a Rare Very Nice Antique Seth Thomas & Sons Tucker Bronze Mantel Clock Circa 1878. Case has been cleaned and gone over to bring back natural bronze patina. Porcelain dial with a couple chips that are hidden by bezel. Bronze heavy bezel sits on clock and covers dial, but hinge is broken, so it needs to be removed and replaced after winding. Clock has original porthole back cover with original screws that allow viewing of the movement. Seth Thomas and Sons Marked French Style movement marked. This is truly a special clock- This clock has been fully restored, and no detail has been missed. An antique Seth Thomas brass bottom bell ships clock with attached brass bell and key. I believe this dates to circa 1889. It is in very solid working condition. The glass is in suprisingly good condition with no cracks or dings and virtually no scratches. The hinge is solid and can suppport its own weight without risking falling apart. The door closes easily and fits nicely and is not loose. I think the patina on the housing is beautiful. Much of the nickel plating is worn off exposing the bronze underneath. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS ADAMANTINE MANTLE CLOCK CIRCA EARLY 1900s. This clock is 12 inches tall by 10 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches deep. Clock comes with the pendulum only there is no key included. We did not have a key but we tested this by placing the pendulum on and it appears to run under its own power, but we make no guarantees. There are some next to the case as you can see in the photos.
