Porcelain dial with a couple chips that are hidden by bezel. Bronze heavy bezel sits on clock and covers dial, but hinge is broken, so it needs to be removed and replaced after winding. From my personal collection, a Beautiful fully restored Rare Antique Seth Thomas Paris Adamantine Mantle Clock, Circa 1894. This clock is all original and in excellent shape for being 126 years old! This is truly a special clock- This clock has been fully restored, and no detail has been missed. Cabinet is a French style Brown tortise shell Adamantine, surrounded by beautiful guilded gold ornaments with fine detail in the center, drawing attention to this beautiful clock. An antique Seth Thomas brass bottom bell ships clock with attached brass bell and key. I believe this dates to circa 1889. It is in very solid working condition. The glass is in suprisingly good condition with no cracks or dings and virtually no scratches. The hinge is solid and can suppport its own weight without risking falling apart. The door closes easily and fits nicely and is not loose. I think the patina on the housing is beautiful. Much of the nickel plating is worn off exposing the bronze underneath. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS ADAMANTINE MANTLE CLOCK CIRCA EARLY 1900s. This clock is 12 inches tall by 10 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches deep. Clock comes with the pendulum only there is no key included. We did not have a key but we tested this by placing the pendulum on and it appears to run under its own power, but we make no guarantees. There are some next to the case as you can see in the photos. Beautiful original and early Seth Thomas “pillar and scroll” wood works clock in nice condition. Circa 1830, an Eli Terry design, this was Seth Thomas first clock. Movement is clean, the strike side has a gear which has been repaired and needs attention. (see photo) The suspension spring has worn out and needs replaced. Original top and bottom glass with bubbles in the original front glass. Part of the original label is on the inside. The dial is in beautiful aged condition with no damage just age. The dial is wood.
