This is Seth Thomass 5 bell Sonora chime clock with a signed Fred Bucher & Sons Baltimore Md. The clock is in nice condition and seems to run and chime properly. The case looks to have been re-shellacked at some point, and looks pretty good. There are a few scratches and scuffs, but overall the clock looks great with a rare signed dial. I have had this clock for many years and it has always ran strong. I have never done a timing test. It has a great sound. The face has a chip around the keyhole as shown, also the case has a few small chips also shown. Neither of these takes away from this great clock. I will package it to the best of my ability. A nice vintage shelf or mantle clock. In overall fair to good used condition with some finish wear to the case. Looks to be a rosewood veneer. There is one small area of separation on the back side that is not visible from the front. Has a celluloid face with a bit of mild wear. There is no key. Probably from the late 1800s to early 1900s. 13 3/4 inches tall , 10 7/8 inches wide , and 7 3/8 inches depth. Original SETH THOMAS # 113A mechanical movement. The finish is good with mild wear. It does come with the pendulum and correct size key. I did get the clock to run all day and it worked well. It chimes every 15 minutes and on the hour. I dont have any history on the clock so I do recommend having it cleaned / serviced (no warranties). Please check out my other auctions for other fine timepieces.
