Up for sale is an Antique Key Wind Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Mahogany Mantle Shelf Clock. The clock is in great original condition. The dial has some marks on it as pictured, but overall the clock is in very nice condition for its age. The clock is running but could use a servicing to run properly. The clock measures 15″ across x 14″ high x 7 deep. Clock has ben running well for over 48 hours. The chime is not going off. When I set the clock up the chimes went off and it sounded great. This is one of Seth Thomass 5 bell, Sonora chime clocks. The clock has been running and chiming for days without issue. The bells sound nice and the cadence is good. The case is in nice original condition with a few scuffs and a small veneer chip on the top rear of the clock. Its not noticeable from the front of the clock. This is Seth Thomass 5 bell Sonora chime clock with a signed Fred Bucher & Sons Baltimore Md. The clock is in nice condition and seems to run and chime properly. The case looks to have been re-shellacked at some point, and looks pretty good. There are a few scratches and scuffs, but overall the clock looks great with a rare signed dial. I have had this clock for many years and it has always ran strong. I have never done a timing test. It has a great sound. The face has a chip around the keyhole as shown, also the case has a few small chips also shown. Neither of these takes away from this great clock. I will package it to the best of my ability. A nice vintage shelf or mantle clock. In overall fair to good used condition with some finish wear to the case. Looks to be a rosewood veneer. There is one small area of separation on the back side that is not visible from the front. Has a celluloid face with a bit of mild wear. There is no key.
