Beautiful Non-Working Seth Thomas No. 124 with Westminster chime and silent feature. Clock was running good then it stopped. I tried to wind it, but the spring would never wind. You could hear a clicking noise like it was trying to wind, until then the clock ran fine. This could be a easy fix by replacing or repairing the barrel spring on the time side, but then that’s above my pay grade. I refinished the case to bring out the beautiful grain and polished the bezel, the convex glass and dial and case are in very good to excellent condition in my opinion. Offered for your consideration is this Seth Thomas Westminster Chime Clock No. 72 from circa 1921. It features a fancy pierced, hand-cut, hand-engraved, gold and silver plated dial and face. 113 three-train movement, chiming each quarter-hour and striking the hours on premium tuned Mayland rods in a Mahogany cabinet case. The movement has been completely and properly disassembled, fully serviced and thoroughly tested. The mahogany case retains its original finish. It was cleaned, hand rubbed and given two coats of paste wax. This model measures 14 3/4 inches in height and 7 1/4 inches in depth.
