This is an excellent Vintage Large Brass Clock Porthole that would look great in a Restaurant/Bar, Office or wherever you like. This porthole has 4 brass screw eyes which unscrew to remove the front. The glass front is plexiglass. You could make a unique table out of it if you like. The clock inside is a Seth Thomas which is a newer model and works great. It takes a double A battery. Beautiful antique Seth Thomas crystal pendulum mantel, empire-style clock. The clock came from an old estate that was located on the banks of Lake Monroe in Volusia County, FL. It is brass and beveled glass in great condition and lovely brass patina. From what I understand it is circa early 1900’s. There are numbers written on the bottom that are very difficult to decipher but maybe have some significance to model. The door works and it has the original key. When it’s wound it ticks and chimes.
