SETH THOMAS PEMBROKE – 1921. One that I have ever seen on the public market. It has a nice chime on its Cathedral bell gong counting the hours and striking once on the half-hours. Just a beautiful tone that is pleasing to the ear. A simple yet beautiful design of the case allows this clock to go with any home décor. This clock comes with nice step up design at the base that runs along the front and the sides. A scroll like design that runs from the base corners and along the front edge to the 9 and 3 giving this clock a nice balance that is appealing to the eye. The Mahogany case has no man made character marks in it but the previous owner stripped it and had no choice but to shellac it myself. It turned out pretty nice as you can see in the pictures. The original silvered dial is in excellent condition with a nice 4 ½. Inch minute circle silvered and attached. The black Arabic numbers and the signature Seth Thomas diamond shaped hour and minute hands give this clock a classy look and the numbers can be read from a distance. The flat glass has no scratches or chips in it. Both the front and the back doors open and close properly as they should. Original bob with the 2-sided key comes with the clock. This clock features a half-hour strike rebuilt 15-day fine round movement No. 51 that strikes once on the half-hour and actual number of strikes on the top of each hour. This can be seen and heard on the video player that is provided on this listing. This clock will give years of enjoyment to you and your family and many years of enjoyment to pass on for your generations to come. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional. Disassemble the entire clock and movement myself completely. Install Seth Thomas parts ONLY on the movement as needed. All worn pivot holes with Bergeon bronze bushings as needed. Clean the entire movement and mainsprings ultrasonically. Clean the original dial being careful not to alter its original condition. This dial is original and has not been altered. Clean the bezel, parts and gong by hand. Clean the inside of the clock as well as the outside by hand with mild cleaners and apply a coat of wax by hand. Reassemble the clock, oil and lube in the proper places. Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth and even strikes at each hour and half-hour. Electronically regulate the beat and adjust the speed while the clock is level to ensure accuracy for many generations. Inspect and adjust every minor detail of the clock assuring full function and peak performance for many years to come. Smoke free, pet free home.
