Seth Thomas Mark I – Deck Clock Black US Navy Bakelite Exterior U. Pretty vintage and old. I have no idea how to get it to work. Looks to be bakelite, but not sure. Looks to be in great condition. Some marks here and there and many scratches on the front glass. Rust marks on the chains and metal. I was told it was it was from the USS Wyoming. No way to confirm that.

Clock diameter 5.25 (case). Black face on clock. Patina and wear as shown. Seems to run fast. We did not try to adjust or clean anything. Runs for several days. This is one of Seth Thomas’s black mantels with the Adamantine finish. Cosmetically, the clock looks really good with a smooth glossy finish and original wash on the embellishments. The dial is nice, but a little faded on the numbers. The glass is a little shakey in the bezel, but that seems to be a design flaw more than anything. There’s a good label on the rear and the clock seems to retain most of its original parts.
