Great piece of history. See pictures on back as per its servicing. I’m guessing it was 1913 not 2013 based on the wear. Lever on left when you push up activates bell. Bell chimes three times when you push lever. Has key not sure if key is original. Wind up on right turns and clocks. Windup on left does not turn. Bell Works Clock Doesn’t.

The clock was made by Seth Thomas and is a primary piece in the collection of the USS Yankee. The clock is an original piece from the Spanish American War era and was made in the United States. The Clock Has a Silver Metal Dial with Arabic Numerals, Signed’Seth Thomas Made in USA’. The Movement is Signed “ST Made in USA 115D 4702″. This is a Key Wind Clock. There are 2 Winding Arbors on the Dial, and it Includes a Winding Key. The Clock Itself Measures approx. 5 1/2″ in Diameter with a 4″ Dial. THE CLOCK HAS ITS ORIGINAL FINISH AND PATINA. THE STAMPED AND SILVERED FACE IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION WITH ONLY SOME VERY MINOR SCRATCHNG AROUND THE WINDING PORTS. There are two cracks in the case see pictures. I do not know the running condition because I don’t have the key. Clock face cover appears to need new gasket because it comes off easily.
