Clock Violin Seth Thomas Reproduction- antique. This reproduction Seth Thomas Violin Clock is made of walnut and as you can see in the photos has aged well with an amazing patina! The grain in the walnut is beautiful. The door is hinged on the right side and latches from the left. The glass is decorated with gold depicting musical staffs and sheet music. Up for sale is a very decent but not the fanciest Seth Adamantine in very good condition and runs and chimes as it should and a pretty strong runner. The original dial was very brown and flaking so thats a proper timesavers paper. Everything else seems original except pendulum. Seth Thomas clocks were crafted in nearby Thomaston Ct and are along with Ansonia most sought and collectable. Case sits flat and square. This is a rare one from what I’ve seen I could only find one like it and I believe it had the regulator feature. This one works fine only problem with it is that its missing a piece of wood on the back but does have the original key. Updated this listing and lowered price because during the move I somehow misplaced/lost the shaft that holds the pendulum so figured price cut makes up for the missing parts.
