This is a wonderful and very stunning Seth Thomas adamantine clock. This clock runs well and chimes loudly and with great resonance. This clock is in good condition with good glass and a solid face. There is a burn mark on the top and the back protrudes slightly further than it should but this is an older clock and these sorts of things are to be expected. In Thomaston, Connecticut in the year 1899. It has the green marble-look Adamantine top and trim against the solid black Adamantine body. This is the actual date of manufacture painted on the bottom of the clock, and not just a patent date. The original signed Seth Thomas movement has been serviced and is in good running and gonging order. Our service includes ultrasonic cleaning and repair of anything that might be found wrong. Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 6 Column Mantle Clock Rebuilt 89C Movement. Condition is very nice with a few flaws as normally seen on clocks of this age. Most notably the faux marble finish is lifting on one corner of the right side column base, and a chip in the finish on the lower left side. It looks like the gold has been repainted on the columns capitals and bases and the front feet. The rest of the case is very nice with a good shine and minimal defects. The back has some paint spattered on it and the catch for the panel was repaired with a 1960s era pulltab flap. […]

All original except for the key this clock is in working condition with normal ware from use and age. It rings a bell on the half hour and chime strikes the time on the hour. It does need service. It has not been serviced in over 20 years. There is still part or most of the original label on the back. It is almost 17″ wide, 11″ tall and 7 deep.
