Antique 1800’s Victorian Seth Thomas Calendar Parlor Clock. The clock has been running continuously for a week. There is some time drift so some adjustment is needed. Seth Thomas Ogee Shelf Clock w Original Reverse Painting on Glass, 1800’s Reverse glass painting of Roman columns scene on the bottom window. Ogee case, made in possibly Plymouth Hollow, tablet glass puttied in, missing top tablet glass. Dial is metal, and two rings drawn around time track with dots for minute marks. The case has some nicks, chips, scratches in the veneer and wood back. The door opens with no problems, the putty around the windows is old. Seth Thomas Ogee Shelf Clock w Original Reverse Painting on Glass 1800s. Reverse glass painting of a castle scene on the bottom window. Ogee case, made in Plymouth Hollow, glasses puttied in. Dial is metal, and two rings drawn around time track with dots for minute marks. Early features of dial are tapered numerals 3, 4, and 8, with small winding holes (8.2 mm). Movement type 1.243 (the earliest type). Measures: Height 25-7/8″, width 15-5/8″, depth 4-3/8. The case has nicks, chips, scratches in the veneer and wood back.
