Please refer to all photos for the condition of this great marine time piece. This is a very little used ca. This classic bell clock features a brass case with screw on bezel and stainless-steel dial with black painted features: 24-hour & 12-hour Arabic numerals surrounded by a chapter ring. A white reflector ring improves visibility of the dial in low light. It features a chime silence option. 3 Key-wound time and strike mainsprings. Durable brass water resistant housing bushings. The movement is German and made for Seth Thomas. Eight-day, 7-Jewel, striking bell clock whose design dates to 1921. The movement number is A207-000 CC, s/n 7713, which is essentially a Hermle 132-071. It has a compensated balance wheel and Breguet hairspring. It is in especially fine condition with a near blemish free dial and a case that has been polished, buffed, and sealed with clear lacquer. The glass window is scratch free and clear. The clock has been running for a week without issue. The strike uses the simpler bell pattern the classic bell system differed day vs. The simpler system makes it the same for each 12 hour period. The white pine wood base is stained and sealed with a TruOil oil finish. Inset on the back side is a hanger disk that allows the clock to be flush mounted to the wall with a single #8 round head screw. Please see pictures as they are an integral part of the description.
