Offered for sale from my private collection is this outstanding Seth Thomas pillar and scroll circa 1820 more than 200 years old! The clock is in correct and accurate running condition. It is a 30 hour wood works clock. The case is outstanding! Scrolls are original and perfect. The scrolls have never been damaged or repaired. Scrolls have the mild curvature consistent with a truly original clock. Sets and runs correctly. The mahogany case is pristine without damage or repair. A truly museum quality clock. The dial is original and outstanding. The pendulum, weights, finials and key are very old and likely original. Even the ivory escutcheon and case key are original. The reverse painted glass is a superb Tom Moberg signed example. Clocks of this quality and rarity are rarely seen for sale.
