Seth Thomas 8 Day Keywound Westminster Chimes Mahogany Mantel Clock Key GERMANY Working This beautiful mid-Century timepiece, Seth Thomas Model 6110, measures 9-1/4″ tall, 20″” wide, and 5-1/8″ deep. The brass movement is engraved Made in Germany for Seth Thomas Clocks Thomaston Connecticut; the same 6110 is engraved there as well. The back of this timepiece has labels marked with dates of service conducted, presumably by a clockmaker/clock repairperson, beginning in 1965. All parts included, with key; instructions printed on inside of door on back. At the time of this posting, the clock has been adjusted to keep accurate time, but this may change during transportation. No worries, because the speed of the clock’s movement is regulated with the nut at the bottom of the pendulum bob (weight); please do not turn the nut more than 1/4 turn – turning to the left slows the clock slightly, and turning to the right speeds up the clock just a little. In gently used vintage condition for a clock at least 57 years old — minimal scratches on the mahogany case, and some scratches on the face dial, noticeable only on close inspection (see photos). Keeps good time (after we did some adjusting of the pendulum), and all notes work on the chime. Please examine all photos closely, as they are part of the description. Thank you for shopping with us!
